What solution will these great religious leaders propose? Set aside Sunday to give the earth rest and to worship God - "the mark of the beast." There will be such great universal fear of the shaking earth that it will finally be decreed "that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name." [Revelation 13:17.] Businessmen, fearful of losing their wealth, will eventually "weep and mourn over her [Babylon]; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more." [Revelation 18:11.] For "the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.... [but] her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her." [Revelation 18:3, 8.]

What is this mark and why will people get it? The mark is Sunday observance. It is compelled worship of God on Sunday that has no greater authority than that of men. Those who honor Sunday rather than keeping the seventh-day Sabbath holy receive this mark. Evangelicalism will join hands with Catholicism to promote Sunday observance. Sunday will be hailed as a principal day to seek God for relief from the shaking earth and from tremendous destruction by disastrous weather events. National and scientific leaders will give their support to mandated Sunday observance because they will have no solution to solve the crises of the heaving earth. Great vessels will sink below the roaring ocean waves. Economies will collapse. Disease will increase. Food insecurity will abound. "The shaking, it will come. Indeed, it has begun already; the judgments of God are now upon the land to give us warning, that we may know what is coming." [Ms 173, 1902.]

As distress around the world intensifies, mountains of difficulties will arise. More and more the pontiff of Rome will take a leading role in world affairs both political and economic. For "all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea.... cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great [Vatican] city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate." [Revelation 18:17-19.] All global international trade by water will look to the pope for the cessation of the angry billowing ocean waves only to be left in agonizing disappointment. The "man of sin" will lead the world to a false hope, "for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived." [2 Thessalonians 2:3; Revelation 18:23.] But God's people will not be deceived. "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them." [Isaiah 8:20.] The people of God will receive their inspiration from the word of God not man. They will not be deceived by the "working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders." [2 Thessalonians 2:9.] They will not trust their physical senses, but the Bible alone. God's people will keep the commandments of God including the seventh-day Sabbath.

God's people will warn the world to "Come out of her [Babylon], my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities." [Revelation 18:4-5.] Come out of this corrupt religious system, rightly named "Babylon", meaning religious confusion.

Babylon will hypnotize the senses of many professed Christians who are yielding their minds to the internet and television. Turn away from the corrupt pleasures of the world and the multitude of cares. Focus on Christ! Open and read your Bibles. Turn away from the hypnotizing effect of cell phones. YouTube, Netflix, meaningless phone apps, and constant texting are hypnotizing the senses of the masses to be deceived when "Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light." [2 Corinthians 11:14.] When the power of Babylon through supernatural occurrences begins, even those who know the truth will be overcome by the spellbound power of Satan unless they are shielded by the grace of God! "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect." [Matthew 24:24.] If our senses are under the power of social media now, we shall fall under the mesmerizing power of Satan in the end! The entrancing power of Babylon will overpower all who have not placed their senses under the power of God!

Compulsion to worship God on Sunday, enforced by the laws of the various nations, will bring great suffering to those who honor God by keeping the seventh-day Sabbath holy. The "beast" power of Revelation 13 will enforce a religious law to honor Sunday in America and then around the world. This mandate of forced Sunday observance closes the history of this wicked world and ushers in the seven last plagues of God. [Revelation 16.]

Which day will you choose to worship God?

Those who honor Sunday receive the seven last plagues of God. Those who honor God keep the Sabbath that was spoken and written by the finger of God. It is the seventh-day Sabbath (sunset Friday to sunset Saturday). The Sabbath honors God as our Creator. It is found in the Fourth Commandment of God that says,

"Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it." [Exodus 20:8 - 11.]

God will soon begin to shake this world.
