Earthquakes - The Great Shaking! - Posted: February 22, 2023
"Woe to Ariel [Christian World], to Ariel, the city where David dwelt! add ye year to year... Yet I will distress Ariel [Christian World], and there shall be heaviness and sorrow.... yea, it shall be at an instant suddenly. Thou shalt be visited of the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire. And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem [Christian World] with candles, and punish the men that are settled on their lees: that say in their heart, The LORD will not do good, neither will he do evil." [Isaiah 29:1, 2, 5, 6; Zephaniah 1:12]
God is going to bring the Christian world to the test of His Great Ten Commandments!
People add year to year as if each new year will continue as the last. Professed Christians have compromised with the world and broken God's Holy Law. God says, "this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men" rather than the precepts of the Bible. [Isaiah 29:13.] God says, "the wisdom of their wise men [Christian leaders] shall perish" because that they "seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark." [Isaiah 29:14-15.] Therefore, God is about to shake this world literally with earthquakes and turn things upside down. God is going to bring the Christian world to the test of His Great Ten Commandments! Will we honor God and obey Him? Will we "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy"? [Exodus 20:8.] Or will Christian leaders continue to exalt Sunday, "teaching for doctrines the commandments of men"?! [Matthew 15:9.]
A sudden change is about to occur. Earthquakes will begin to decimate thousands of sinful cities, towns, and villages in America and tens of thousands throughout the world. These earthquakes will not stop. God will have the attention of all. People will seek God for relief. Professed Christian leaders will wrongly lead men to exalt Sunday as a day of rest and worship to seek relief from continuous quakes. Thus, attention will be drawn to the true day of rest and worship as found in the Fourth Commandment of God—the seventh-day Sabbath. Every person will decide whether to obey the laws of men or the law of God.

There will soon be a sudden change in God's dealings. The world in its perversity is being visited by casualties,—by floods, storms, fires, earthquakes, famines, wars, and bloodshed. The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power; yet he will not at all acquit the wicked. "The Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet." O that men might understand the patience and long-suffering of God! He is putting under restraint his own attributes. His omnipotent power is under the control of Omnipotence. O that men would understand that God refuses to be wearied out with the world's perversity, and still holds out the hope of forgiveness even to the most undeserving! But his forbearance will not always continue. Who is prepared for the sudden change that will take place in God's dealing with sinful men? Who will be prepared to escape the punishment that will certainly fall upon transgressors?
Men will be humbled. They shall "be brought down, and shalt speak out of the ground, and thy speech shall be low out of the dust." [Isaiah 29:4.] Strangers and the great and terrible ones of the earth will be humbled. Men that fight against and refuse to believe God's prophetic word will believe that these continuous convulsions happening world-wide are a dream—only to awake each morning to the reality and fear of earthquakes! Many will seek understanding from their religious leaders. People will cry out for understanding, but their religious leaders "are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink. For the LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered." [Isaiah 29:9, 10.] The moving of the earth will startle them from their "deep sleep." Earthquakes will shake the sleeping virgins (Adventists) and they will awake. Who will have oil in his lamp? But because religious leaders and people refuse to believe the truth of God's word regarding the importance of honoring God, our Creator, by keeping all His commandments including the Sabbath of the Fourth Commandment, the terrifying convulsions of the earth will not stop. The warning will be given, but religious leaders in the Christian community will "make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of nought." [Isaiah 29:21.]
Earthquakes will cause American politics to shift. The religious right will have their man. The seventh "Trump" has almost finished sounding. Christian Evangelicals in America will gain control of politics when great quakes fill the land. Sunday will be exalted. Yet, some will not be satisfied with the mere authority of men. Some will thirst for truth and choose to sustain their belief by the Bible and the Bible alone. They will place their faith in God not the traditions of men. Those who choose the Bible Sabbath will be accused of all the natural disasters happening in the world. The world at large will hate those who keep the Sabbath because of earthquakes and dreadful tempests. Christian leaders, who will not humble their proud hearts and admit their wrong understanding regarding Sunday sacredness, will charge all the evil of natural calamities on God's remnant people. Satan will have control of their minds and through them, the great masses of the world. God will allow Satan to sustain his lies through supernatural occurrences and miracles, even by the "man of sin"—Popery. "Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders... because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved... God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie." [2 Thessalonians 2: 9—11.] Those who refuse to keep all the commandments of God, including the Sabbath, will suffer the wrath of God—the seven last plagues [Revelation 16.]
But there will be hope for those who earnestly seek God as a humble child, who are willing to forsake all for Christ. For "whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple." [Luke 14:33.] "And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart." [Jeremiah 29:13.] "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled." [Matthew 5:6.] "And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely." [Revelation 22:17.]
The end is here!
