Moral Relativism - Is it Biblical? - Posted: April 7, 2018

Moral Relativism is morals or ethics based on personal convictions of truth that may vary based on feelings, circumstances, culture, education, gender identity or any other reason that appears plausibly correct. It has no set standard. It can deviate from person to person. It is not Biblical.

The Bible defines morality as absolute truth. Morality is founded upon the infallible character of God. It can never change. It is the perfect— unchanging will of God.

"For I am the Lord, I change not" [Malachi 3:6].

Today, the moral character of God is under assault in our precious freedom to promote morality in regards to Biblical marriage. Nowhere is this controversy more visible in America than between Biblical marriage and same-sex unions. But a change is coming. Quietly, the Protestant churches of America accept a compromise to maintain their tax exempt status. Just when the voice of protest is needed against same-sex unions, the professed Bible believing churches of America will be silent. Yes, they will advocate morality in family life, healthy living and a need to return to God. But in order to financially maintain their institutions, they will use a façade of love to cover the immorality of the LGBT lifestyle. This has devastating effects. God sees their hypocrisy to accept money from the Federal Government to sustain their churches, schools, and hospitals in exchange for remaining mute. Their convictions of truth regarding the LGBT lifestyle will no longer be based on the absolute Word of God, but the deceptive reasoning of men.

Currently, the LGBT community stand at the door of morality as the Sodomites stood at the door of Lot threatening to break it down and enter the house [of God]. The courts of America are packed with liberal justices that disregard the Decalogue of God and support LGBT inclusiveness. Title IX that gives federal funding to colleges, including non-profit Christian colleges, are reinterpreting sex discrimination to include gender identity and sexual orientation. Christian institutions in America faced with losing millions of dollars of revenue, quietly capitulate.

"Christian Colleges That Oppose LGBT Rights Worried About Losing Funding" 1

"Conservative Christian colleges are worried that their doctrinal commitments with respect to LGBT issues could run afoul of sex discrimination law under Title IX and jeopardize federal financial aid."

Faithful Abraham, after rescuing his nephew Lot, would not even "take from a thread even to a shoelatchet" from the government of Sodom—"...lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich" [Genesis 14:23]. But today, professed Christian institutions compromise the unchanging law of God regarding sexuality and marriage to financially sustain their coffers by accepting money from the Sodomite promoting United States government. By not protesting the sin of same-sex unions, the Catholic Church and Protestant churches of America sustain error and defy their Creator. Their moral relativism stinks in the nostrils of God.

What state is leading the charge against the character of God? Of course, it is California.

"California Introduces 'Dangerous Bill' That Would Make It Illegal for Christians to Counsel LGBTQ Adults" 2

"California LGBTQ activists have introduced a bill that would make it illegal for Christians to provide biblically based counseling for those wanting to get help for unwanted same-sex attractions."

This battle between morality and LGBT rights will be a precursor to the most decisive spiritual battle ever waged on earth.

Morality is outlined in the Holy Scriptures as the way to live given by our Creator God. The union between a man and woman is rightly maintained by holy matrimony. The union between a person and God is sacredly maintained by Sabbath rest. Marriage and Sabbath keeping are morals given by God. The former battle regarding marriage leads to the last great battle in this earth's history regarding worship—the battle of Armageddon.

The Protestant Churches of America will join forces with the United States government, the Catholic Church and Spiritualism to enforce Sunday observance. As this nation departs from God, the Creator will allow natural disasters to occur with greater destruction. From every area of society the cry will be heard, we must get back to God and worship on Sunday. One error will be exchanged for another. The error of same-sex unions will be exchanged for the error of Sunday observance. Those who conscientiously choose to obey the absolute Word of God will be persecuted for defying the national interests of our country.

The judgment has been set and the books opened [Daniel 7:10]. The lives of every human being began review in the heavenly sanctuary on October 22, 1844 [Daniel 7:13-14; 8:14, Hebrews 8:1-2; 9:24]. A review and judgment of the character of each person who has ever lived on this earth is almost finished. Where do you stand dear reader? Is your life right with God? Soon the kingdoms of this world will become the "kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ" [Revelation 11:15].
